Ever experience this? You create the most personalized protocol, run the right labs, and provide exceptional clinical recommendations, but your client still struggles to follow through.

They struggle to take the supplements you’ve recommended. Or they abandon dietary changes that feel too hard. Ultimately, they stop showing up for themselves. And as practitioners, we're left wondering why the best plan isn't translating into better outcomes.

The answer often has nothing to do with motivation, discipline, or knowledge. It's about belief.

Join Margaret Floyd Barry and Ishbel Cavaleri for a conversation exploring one of the most important and often overlooked aspects of clinical practice: the psychology behind behavior change.

Together, they'll discuss why clients struggle to follow through, what happens in the messy middle of healing, and how practitioners can better support lasting transformation.

Why You Need To Be There
Healthcare is changing rapidly. While AI can summarize research, suggest protocols, analyze data, and provide information faster than ever before, the reality remains: Healing has never been about information alone.

The challenge isn't just in creating the right protocol; it's helping clients actually follow through on it.
As practitioners, one of our most important jobs is to help our clients navigate self-doubt, rebuild trust in themselves, overcome limiting beliefs, and stay committed when progress feels slow or challenges arise (as they inevitably do!)

Those are deeply human experiences, and they require REAL human skills.

As AI becomes increasingly capable of delivering information, the practitioners who stand out will be those who can do what technology cannot. Can you build trust, facilitate lasting behavior change, create real connection, and ultimately guide your clients to transformation?

In this conversation, Margaret and Ishbel will explore why these skills may become some of the most valuable assets practitioners bring to the future of healthcare.

Topics We'll Explore

• Why client compliance is rarely about discipline alone, and the hidden belief systems that influence health behaviors
• The messy middle of healing and how to support clients as they move through it
• What practitioners can do to create deeper engagement and better results
• How the role of the practitioner is evolving in an AI-driven world

Meet the Speakers

Margaret Floyd Barry

MRWP, FNTP, Owner & Executive Director, IRH
Margaret has spent nearly two decades at the intersection of autoimmunity, digestive health, and hormonal health. She took the very first IRH course in 2014, joined as an early faculty member, and eventually became the program’s owner and Executive Director — which tells you everything about what she thinks of it. She is the author of Eat Naked, host of The Clinician’s Corner podcast, and founder of Restorative Corporate Wellness, which embeds Restorative Health Practitioners into employee benefits programs.

Ishbel Cavaleri

NTM, MRHP, BCHN · IRH Faculty
Ishbel Cavaleri is the founder of The Gutsy Hormone, where she specializes in a gut-first approach to hormonal health and testosterone imbalances. A Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), Master Restorative Health Practitioner, Certified Life Coach, and ReCODE 2.0 Practitioner, she combines functional nutrition, advanced lab interpretation, and behavior change strategies to help clients address complex chronic health concerns. After struggling with PCOS, chronic digestive issues, and hormonal imbalances herself, Ishbel discovered the transformative impact of restorative health approaches, regaining her menstrual cycle after years without one. Today, she helps clients uncover root causes and create lasting change through both her private practice and her work as an Integrative Clinician specializing in complex chronic illness and cognitive health.
For Those Who Want
More Than Better Protocols

Clinical knowledge matters, but knowledge alone doesn't create transformation.
The practitioners who create lasting change understand people just as deeply as they understand physiology. They know how to navigate resistance and foster trust. They know how to help clients become active participants in their healing journey.

As healthcare and AI continues to evolve, those skills are becoming more valuable than ever.

Join Margaret and Ishbel for a conversation about what that future looks like and why understanding human behavior may be one of the most important investments practitioners can make.
